Lyons NY - Aerial Town Portraits

Over this past Labor Day Weekend, I took an aerial tour of the Sodus/Lyons area in a small three seater prop plane. I used my Canon EOS 40 with the EF 70-200mm f/4L USM lense.

The shot below is from directly above the town of Lyons NY.
.

Below is a shot from just north of Lyons. Notice the winding Erie Canal towards the top of the picture (south of the town).

.
This view is looking south with Lyons NY in the foreground and Seneca Lake in the background. Seneca Lake is the largest of the Finger Lakes by water volume, second largest by length. I used my Canon EOS 40 with the EF 70-200mm f/4L USM lense for these pics.

Here is the same view of Seneca Lake but shot in portrait.

Rochester NY - Lower Falls, Genesee River

The best panoramic view of the Lower Fall in Rochester NY is from the Driving Park Ave Bridge. There is a trail in Lower Falls Park from the bridge that also goes right be the falls itself.
