I took these pictures at the Maplewood Rose Garden in Rochester NY on  Sunday May 30,2010. The roses are really close to full bloom 10 days earlier than normal.

The USS The Sullivans DD-537 is a Fletcher Class Destroyer launched in April of 1943. DD 537 served in WWII, taking part in combat in the Pacific during the Marshalls, Carolines, Mariannas, and Philippines campaigns.
